Spain is Photo

Spain is Photo is a company that specializes in organizing multi-experience trips in Spain of great richness for photographers. They offer high-quality excursions to sites with unique characteristics, guided by professionals with extensive experience in the field. The company particularly focuses on the Region of Murcia, in the southeast of the country, which boasts spectacular landscapes and photogenic corners.

The experiences provided by Spain is Photo include visits to diverse and genuine places, allowing photographers to capture original and beautiful images. These trips not only serve the purpose of photography but also provide an opportunity to better understand the country, its gastronomy, festivals, and most authentic features. Each trip organized by the company allows photographers to practice different types and styles of photography.

During the trips, participants will have the opportunity to engage in daytime landscape photography. They will explore extraordinary natural landscapes of great cultural importance in the region, appreciating the most spectacular views. Valleys, forests, mountains, caves, and wild beaches will be discovered, always seeking the best lighting conditions, such as sunrise or sunset.

Spain is Photo also offers nighttime photography experiences in places without light pollution. Participants can capture star trails, take portraits, or experiment with light painting. Moreover, they can enjoy increasingly rare dreamlike views that are less frequent in cities.

Architectural photography is another focus of Spain is Photo’s trips, with visits to various iconic monuments in the region. Participants will have the opportunity to explore buildings, villas, bridges, interior spaces, and other structures. They will also have the chance to practice urban photography from special and characteristic corners of the Region of Murcia. Notable examples include the Murcian cathedral, the Plaza de las Flores, or the Puente de los Peligros (Bridge of Dangers) in Murcia.

Street and social photography are also incorporated into the trips. Depending on the time of year, participants will have the opportunity to attend festivals, learn about traditions, and immerse themselves in situations inaccessible to tourists.

Lastly, Spain is Photo organizes experiences focused on portrait photography. They offer various opportunities to capture characteristic and singular images. For instance, participants may attend a flamenco show where they can highlight the passion and emotion of flamenco singers. They will also appreciate the unique costumes and other distinctive features of this community.

David Airob

Photographer for the spanish journal «La Vanguardia» from 1990 to 2018.

During his time at the newspaper, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Photography Section. He covered a wide range of topics, including politics, international affairs, sports, and more.

In addition to his work at «La Vanguardia,» David has also pursued various personal projects that have received recognition in prestigious competitions such as the World Press Photo, Sony World Photography Awards, and Poy Latam. He has been honored with the «Agustí Centelles» award for photojournalism and his work has been published in renowned international magazines like TIME, Paris-Match, Der Spiegel, and A-Magasinet.

Tino Soriano

Born in Barcelona, Tino Soriano divides his work between travel photography and photojournalism, with a particular focus on the world of medicine. He has received awards from UNESCO, WHO (World Health Organization), the World Press Photo Foundation, and has won five FotoPres awards.

He has worked extensively for National Geographic, traveling around the world on multiple occasions.

The Region of Murcia is one of the 17 autonomous communities in Spain. It is situated in the southeast of the country, and it is known for its warm climate and the hospitality of its people. Additionally, in 2021, it was recognized as the region with the highest amount of young people in Spain.
